Turning a golf day into impact for elephants and communities

Hoedspruit Elephant Rehabilitation and Development (HERD) will host its inaugural Charity Golf Day on 13 October 2026 at Waterkloof Golf Club, bringing together corporate teams, conservation supporters, and the public for a day that combines sport with purpose.

Join us for a memorable day on the fairways as we raise vital funds for the rescue, rehabilitation, and lifelong care of orphaned and displaced elephants at HERD.

With a shotgun start at 11am, the event offers a premium golfing experience while raising essential funds for the rescue, rehabilitation, and lifelong care of orphaned and displaced elephants.

Participants can expect:

• 18 holes of golf with carts
• A halfway meal and goodie bag
• On-course competitions
• A prize-giving function and charity auction

Teams can enter at R5 000 per four-ball, with all proceeds supporting HERD’s conservation work and community-focused programmes.

The event also creates a valuable platform for corporate sponsors to align their brands with a credible conservation initiative while engaging directly with a professional audience.
