Donate towards supplies for Xilaveko Day Care Centre.

Help us to purchase supplies to adequately care for the children and to build a water storage facility and vegetable garden for the school.

Xilaveko Day Care Centre is situated at Timbavati Village in Acornhoek and currently has more than 100 learners. The Day Care Center does not have any running water for the children for cooking and drinking. The school relies on regular deliveries of water from a truck in the community to fill a 5000L Tank for them. The school also needs a variety of supplies for the children.

HERD & Jabulani have partnered together to help fundraise for Xilaveko and to source water tanks for 20,000 liters worth of water as well as to build a cement plinth for the water tanks to stand on.

Your donation towards this community project will assist us to fundraise for the following:

80 bags of concrete premix for the construction of a cement plinth.
Water pump to supply the bathrooms and future vegetable garden with water.
Three-stage water filter and associated fittings to filter the water supplying in the bathroom.
Water pipe and associated fittings for underground pipes to the vegetable garden.
Drip Irrigation to cover 35m of ground.
Vegetable Seeds for the garden.
Colourful Paint for inside buildings and classrooms.
Small plastic chairs and tables.
Plastic Plates and bowls.
Plastic Cups for Water & Juice.
Spoons.
Large Dustbins.
Potjie Pots for cooking.
Cupboards and shelving to store books and games for the children.
Educational Posters for the classrooms.
Cleaning Materials, such as dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, handwash for children etc.
Fencing for front and back of school.
New Slide for the playground.
Swings needs to be fixed in the playground.
