At HERD, we are continuously inspired by the generosity and kindness of our incredible supporters. Your contributions enable us to care for the Jabulani herd, protect and restore the environment they call home, and support the surrounding communities. Every act of giving, whether big or small, is a testament to the impact we can make when we come together with a shared purpose.

ESSENTIAL MEDICAL SUPPLIES
We want to say a HUGE Thank you to GIFT OF THE GIVERS FOUNDATION for donating various medical supplies, such as Sterile Latex Gloves, wound dressings, plasters, bandages, tape and lots of other items to HERD. We received a bakkie load of boxes with the help of Wound Care Specialist Liz Willson-Chandler. We appreciate your support in caring for our elephants!
ESSENTIAL FEED
A SPECIAL Thank you to SOLEIL SITRUS for their ongoing support in donating about 6 tons of Oranges and Rugby Grapefruit during the months of August and September for our Elephants. We are extremely grateful for the additional elephant feed that supported the elephants before the dry season.
A BIG Thank You to FREIGTH CARE LOGISTICS for helping us to deliver 6 x 25kg bags of Skimmed Milk to Hoedspruit. We appreciate your ongoing support.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
A BIG Thank you to BUCO HOEDSPRUIT, who donated various Paint, Paint brushes, and Paint Rollers for the Xilaveko Day Care Centre.

This also includes donations to our Ele-Essential Wishlist and campaigns. We rely on incredible people like you to keep us going. Every cent counts, and no contribution is too small. The donations and adoptions we receive contribute to the day-to-day care of the elephant and operational costs at HERD.

As a voluntary supporter, we shouldn’t expect to receive thanks for our contributions, but, it is heartwarming to read your heartfelt appreciation. I know you will never take anything for granted. So, thank you, in return, for saying thank you and, as always, for your collective determination, dedication and undying devotion to these amazing animals.
