While we’ve cherished sharing JabuGin locally in South Africa, we’re thrilled to announce that we’re now offering international shipping, allowing gin enthusiasts worldwide to experience this extraordinary creation!
Our JabuGin is infused with the dung of the Jabulani herd of elephants… a unique ingredient that you may either be very curious to try or perhaps need some tempting to even sniff.
Utilising elephant dung as a key ingredient in JabuGin not only adds a unique flavour profile but also aligns with our sustainability goals. Repurposing elephant dung collected from the elephant herd helps manage waste sustainably and supports elephant conservation. With JabuGin, every sip represents a commitment to sustainability and the preservation of Africa’s natural beauty.
The dung is collected, cleaned, dried and added to the creation of our gin, adding all kinds of natural plant ingredients foraged by the Jabulani herd while out on their walks in the wilderness each day. The herd are happy and healthy (the proof is in their poop) and their contribution to our gin infuses the mix with distinctive South African botanicals and tastes that the elephants have discerningly selected for us.
